We are a community charity in partnership with local businesses with a mission to create fun safe spaces delivering progressive, inclusive and respectful events, in the Kelham Island and Neepsend neighbourhood.

About the Parade

Kelham Pride began as and remains a community-led celebration of LGBTQIA+ visibility, inclusion and solidarity in Sheffield.
Our parade is both a celebration and a reminder of the ongoing fight for equality, safety and representation for LGBTQIA+ people everywhere.

Route Information

Assembly Point

The Parade will assemble in Kelham Island, off Alma Street around The Chimney House and Groke Coffee, S3 8SD between 11:30am and 12:30pm. A pre-parade party atmosphere will build throughout Kelham Island ahead of departure, with music, colour and community spirit bringing everyone together before the march begins.
We encourage attendees to arrive early and soak up the atmosphere before the Parade departs at 12:30pm.
The Parade will then make its way through Kelham Island and across Ball Street Bridge, arriving at the Kelham Pride Festival site in Neepsend on Burton Road at approximately 1:00pm.

Watching the Parade

Everyone is welcome to come along and watch the parade anywhere along the route. Popular viewing spots include Kelham Island, Little Kelham, and Ball Street Bridge.
These areas can get busy, so we recommend arriving early to secure a good viewing spot and enjoy the atmosphere as the Parade passes by.

Joining the March

Individuals

While we encourage individual attendees to register in advance where possible, registration is not required to take part in the march. Simply arrive at the assembly area before the advertised start time and join us on the day.
We encourage everyone attending to:
• Wear weather-appropriate clothing
• Bring water and stay hydrated
• Respect fellow participants, volunteers and stewards
• Celebrate safely, respectfully and inclusively
